I am all about continuing education. For me, podcasts are the best way to absorb new information on topics I really care about. These are some of the best ones I have found, and truly have learned so much about the blogging game from these! I love listening to these in the mornings when I’m getting ready or in the car. I hope you find them as helpful as I did and make sure to check out last week’s post about all the lessons I learned in 2017!

1. Marketing Made Easy by Amy Porterfield

Y’all. I’m not even lying…this podcast changed my life. If you don’t want to listen to it just listen to it for me because it’s that good! Amy Porterfield is a genius. I really would not be where I am today without Amy and her ability to help me see my blog and YouTube as a business. Amy is extremely relatable, but also very respectable. She talks about being a mom, a wife, and a girl boss regularly. She has helped me organize my time, uncover elements of my business that I would have never invested in. She is also very thorough in the way she explains everything like I’m a 5 year old. If you are staring a business or trying to run a business then this is essential.

2. Pop Fashion

If you want a good belly laugh this podcast is for you. These girls are seriously HILARIOUS! Like tears running down my face funny. If i’m gonna be honest, I KNOW we would be bff’s and I am really drawn to their strong personalities, but more importantly, they also deliver great fashion news and update me with fashion culture, politics, etc. in any easy to digest kinda way. I am not sure if the podcast is widespread just yet, but you just wait because it will be soon. I don’t know about you, but it is always fun to learn and laugh at the same time!

3. Social Media Examiner

When I was first starting to post on YouTube, this was one of my beginner podcasts. It helped me learn how to manage different social media accounts at the same time which is crucial to my job. Things can get very out of hand somedays and I am able to remind myself of things that were said in this podcast! Social Media Examiner delivers quick and easy hacks and tips and tricks that truly help me to this day. It will also shed insight into how to increase traffic, create a content calendar, and capitalize on all of your social media accounts.

4. The Influencer Podcast by Julie Solomon

Julie Solomon is a total sweetheart. I really respect the platform that she has built and her podcast. I love how direct she is with her interviews. She asks the questions the exact same way I would ask them! I am pretty positive we could be the best of friends! When listening to her podcast I feel like she is spoon feeding me incredible information that helps me stay up to date with what’s going on in the influencer industry. I would definitely say she is a staple in my podcast diet whether i’m driving around, working out, or just doing things around the house and want to listen to something that isn’t music.

5. Becoming Fearless

This podcast is by founder of Style Collective, Annie Spano! Which is just a total win and the second I heard that I was jumping head first into her pool of knowledge. There are days when I am just in a slump and can’t get going and this podcast does a great job of reminding me why I even started blogging in the first place! Blogging can be scary at times with putting your life out on the internet, but Annie truly helps me gain some courage! Definitely take the time to listen to her wisdom.

XO,
Dani
