Baby’s Biggest Purchases! | UPPABaby
I CANNOT BELIEVE that I am already in my third trimester! And we hadn’t bought ANYthing yet. Y’all, I hadn’t even bought a baby outfit yet 😱 I don’t think it felt real until the last few weeks! But once that “uhhh a baby is literally going to be here soon” adrenaline kicked in, we were ON IT. When Jordan and I commit to something, we go alllll in. We knew we wanted to focus first on the most-used items, like a crib, stroller, and carseat. We will probably do a crib reveal later, but this week we got our UPPABaby stroller and carseat and we are PUMPED to show y’all and explain why we chose these.
I have heard such good things about UPPABaby and knew I wanted to check out their strollers. I really wanted a stroller that was just going to be easy and safe. We are such on-the-go people so being able to get around easily was a must. We did a little research before falling in love with the UPPABaby VISTA V2 Stroller with Bassinet. It comes in so many cute neutral colors, too!
I love how cushiony and breathable the bassinet is – we can’t have our girl getting uncomfortable! It’s really easy to navigate and pushes so smoothly. The basket underneath can hold up to 30 lbs (that’s a lot of diapers!) and the bassinet can later be exchanged for a toddler seat! It’s a really great all-in-one solution and I am SO excited to take Stella everywhere with us! Btw – the gear was used and displayed as intended according to the Product Visual Guidelines and user manual!
Since we loved the stroller so much, we decided to check out UPPABaby’s car seats and y’all, I am not joking when I say I wish that *I* could ride around in this car seat every day 🤣 We settled on the UPPAbaby MESA Infant Car Seat.
This car seat is under 10 lbs. and is super padded for both Stella’s comfort and protection. It’s really securely locked in, but it has a one-button release that will make it really easy to grab out of the car if we need to. This particular model can even be attached to the MINU stroller, so if you wanted to have super easy back and forth you can! We wanted to keep the car seat and stroller separate just so we can leave the car seat in the car at all times, but this little bundle is another GREAT choice. BONUS: the seat fabric is removable and machine washable! There will inevitably be messes, so it’s great to have that flexibility.
We are so happy to have these super important items crossed off of our list! We’re getting ready for ya, Stella! What do you think we should buy next? Are there any purchases you’d love to see us tackle and share??
