Full Face of Drugstore Makeup!

WELCOME to the first of many Beauty Chats with Dani! I told myself I wanted to do more beauty content this year and so help me, I’m doin it! Since the last tutorial I did was all about beginner’s makeup, I wanted to do a drugstore look next! If you’re just getting into makeup, it’s totally understandable to not wanna invest a whole lot of $$ right away. You gotta figure out which products are your faves first and invest in those! So here are a bunch of drugstore items I picked up and my thoughts! 🙂

Step 1: Loreal Magic Lumi Primer

I am seriously loving this!! It’s so lightweight on the skin and is a perfect base for the rest of your makeup (or honestly I would just wear this by itself, especially to the gym or something low key like that!).

Step 2: Loreal Infallible Pro Glo

My sweet new assistant Becca saw that I got this and said SHE wears it everyday and she’s such a cutie, so if she likes it, y’all are gonna like it! I got natural beige. It’s super hydrating and buildable, so you can always up the coverage if you want more. I grab my wet beauty blender (they’re knockoffs but they’re so good and only like $10 for 5!!!) And just use that to blend it all in! This foundation is like an expensive foundation DUPE y’all.

Step 3: Maybelline Age Rewind Magic Concealer

I used to use this ALL the time, I don’t know why I even stopped! I swurrr some drugstore makeup products are better than high end! A few swipes of this under the eyes and on my highlight areas and I’m good to go! I blend it with a Real Techniques fluffy brush for a more airbrushed look.

Step 4: Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Powder

I guessed on all of these colors and just got lucky lol! This was in shade 230 Natural Buff. This just helps everything stay in place.

Step 5: Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer

Since I wear self-tanner all the time I’m trying to pick lighter bronzers these days so it’s not overload, especially because I am veryyy liberal with my bronzer girl hehe. I just grab a fluffy brush and sweep it onto my forehead, hollows of my cheeks, and jawline in a 3 shape. And don’t forget the neck!

Step 6: Eyebrows

……..I DIDN’T GET ANYTHING I’M SO SORRY LOL but there are great drugstore makeup brow products out there, here’s a link to some highly rated ones!

Step 7: Loreal Brilliant Eyes Liquid Eyeshadows

I grabbed the shade Crystal Shine and popped some onto my lids and blend it in with my finger – bring it into your tear duct for that lil extra glow! Liquid shadows don’t have any glitter fallout either which is greatttt. Then I grabbed Amber Sparkle and apply a little on the outer corners in a “v” shape – this is super easy for a natural, pretty look!

Step 8: NYX eyeliners

I learned this trick AGES ago! Just grab a white eyeliner pencil and tightline your bottom waterline – it makes your eyes look better! We love a beauty trick hehe. Then tightline the upper waterline with a black pencil, just the outer corners. It makes your lashes look more full!

Step 9: NYX Epic Ink Liquid Liner

I’m not doing anything crazy this time, no cat eye or anything, just your basic everyday liner look!

Step 10: Loreal Lash Paradise

This is such a solid mascara, and if you’ve followed me for pretty much ANY period of time you probably know by now that I am PICKY about my mascaras! I layer this up like crayyyyzeeee. Fun fact: in the middle of doing this tutorial I dropped the brush and bent down and then hit my head *upside down smiley face*

Step 11: Milani Bella Bellini Blush

This stuff is pretty much a Nars dupe, and that ish is espensiveeee so I highly recommend this!! It’s got a pretty champagne shimmer to it too

Step 12: NYX Suede Lip Liner in “London”

I am still loving the lip liner hack I showed y’all the other day! Draw a little hump from one side of your cupid’s bow to the other and then fill it in. It’s basically just connect the dots with makeup haha.

Step 13: NYX Lingerie in “Push Up”

Is the name of it relatable to me? No. But are we open to trying new things? YUP *emoji* This is a great affordable lippie, only like $4! Super buttery formula. You can add the butter gloss too! It’s a bomb combo.

Step 14: ……more concealer

OKAY OKAY before you yell at me, I KNOWWW that this is against the rules… you shouldn’t put more liquid products on when you’ve applied a powder… and you’re right… but I don’t care! I just want a really poppin’ underlie okay people?!?! Do I get lots of creases? Sure, sometimes! But is my undereye POPPIN’?! UR DARN TOOTIN’ IS IS

Step 15: Elf Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls

This is a lillll on the light side for me so it’s not my absolute fave but it’s a great formula, so if it’s your color match then it’d be perfect for you! And it’s still really pretty even on muahhhh.

Step 16: Tarte Stay Spray

A slightttt cheat if you don’t count Tarte as drugstore buuuut it’s so good and I wanted to share what I’ve actually been loving!

And that’s the whole shabang, mamas! What are YOUR fave drugstore makeup items?!
