Everyone needs a nice pair of “off-duty” pants. These are mine.

This weekend Jordan and I drove back to Dallas to visit his Aunt Cookie and Uncle John in from Chicago. We walked 6 miles on Katy Trail, grubbed at  Katy Trail Ice House,  saw “Everybody Wants Some” at the new Alamo Draft House downtown, hit up happy hour at the Draft House’s rooftop bar, and watched the sunset at Gloria’s on the lake in Rockwall. I had so much fun showing them around our favorite spots in Dallas.

Needless to say, the weekend was action packed. In my suitcase, I packed a Rag and Bone romper, my favorite pair of AG skinny jeans, Outdoor Voices yoga pants – you know, the essentials but there’s a new travel staple I will be adding to my “packing list” from now on: chambray jogger pants.

I call these my breezy “off-duty” pants. An easy drawstring waist tops these supersoft cotton-chambray pants. The double-faced construction puts a pop of contrast at the roll-ready hems. (See photos below!) They come in a cream color and are under $60. I paired them with an easy U-neck white tee, detailed cross-body purse, and my favorite Dolce Vita ankle strap sandals.

What is your off-duty outfit?

Dani
