ALASKA CRUISE TRAVEL GUIDE | NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE

Guys, Norwegian Cruise Line hooked Jordan and I up with an Alaska Cruise, and I’ve decided to just take up occupancy all year round. It was perfect.

Dolphin and whale watching while listening to Taylor Swift? Check. Cold enough to ACTUALLY dress in cozy clothes (unlike Dallas)? Check. Eat as much as you want all the time because you’re wearing a million layers so nobody’s gonna see your food baby anyways? DOUBLE CHECK.

I’ll be sharing my experience with NCL, the excursions we did, and what I packed below!

Black Double Fur Pom Pom Beanie (Pants and Jacket provided by the tour hehe)

Our cruise itinerary took us along the coast all the way from Seattle to Victoria, with stops in between, like Juneau and Skagway.  We got to do so many bucket-list things on this cruise, like:

I napped so much while we were here y’all, I have never felt so REFRESHED. I was dropping dance moves like it was my 9-5 😏 Our ship, Norwegian Joy, was a beaut! She had allllll the accommodations. I made sure to do everything that I could on board. Y’all know I wasn’t about to miss out 💃

There’s so much to do on this ship – it’s like living on a big, fun-filled island! There’s laser tag, virtual reality games, a RACE TRACK (Racecar Driver Dani was zoomin’, bruh), live performances, and even onboard shopping. They know me. I channeled my inner Bond girl at their casino, spent a day at the spa, and worked off the insanely yummy meals in their fitness center.

Speaking of yummy food… the cuisine options are endless. You can try somewhere new every day, or you can claim a spot at your fave! Jordan and I frequented The Local – comfort food GALORE. I was all about that prime rib or chicken pot pie 😍 We were also huge fans of Teppanyaki, where they cook the food at your table! There are plenty of healthier options too, but… we were on vacay so YOLO 😜 If you wanna enjoy a little nightlife, there’s a night club and plenty of fun bars, too, and if you want something more chill, there’s a Starbucks on deck 6 ladies 😎 They truly thought of it all.

WHAT TO PACK

Thread & Supply Utility Jacket (S) // Black Raincoat // Black Leggings // Black Double Fur Pom Pom Beanie // Rain Booties

Free People Maxi Dress (XS) // Jeffrey Campbell Sandals // Gucci Belt

Around this time of year, you don’t have to pack super heavy coats and sweaters – just light jackets and fall clothing. I would recommend bringing lots of layering pieces for easy changes throughout the day according to the weather.

Another great thing about Norwegian Cruise Line is there are no fancy dinner dress codes! Honestly, it was such relief when I was trying to pack and made Jordan and I both feel more comfortable during dinner times. And if you need more packing recommendations, NCL has you covered.

If you’re needing a lil getaway, you can learn more about Alaska Cruises here! I honestly can’t recommend it enough.

Have you ever been to Alaska? What was your fave part?
