What a year! After looking through old pics, I have found my best purchases from this year! I’m sure you noticed throughout the year the repeats of certain items that I became obsessed with…I had so much fun styling them in different ways to keep the outfits looking fresh every time! I’m pretty sure moving to Dallas changed my style a little bit. But I love it. I owe it all to these trusty outfit staples below!

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings – If you follow me on Instagram, you know I live in these things. I think there’s something about a legging that looks like fancy pants that just gives you so much freedom. Am I going to work out? Or going out to get drinks? You may never know! // Vince Sneakers – when I saw these Vince sneakers on the Nordstrom Anniversary sale I was obsessed. I couldn’t decide on the color or style I liked so I bought both…bad, Dani. But they are so cute and comfy for any outfit!
BlankNYC Suede Moto Jacket – this year I tried investing in staples and tried having ONE moto jacket rather than 4 that I don’t like AND don’t last. Haven’t felt the need to buy a jacket since this one TBH! It can be worn in spring, fall, winter AND dresses up or down easily. Like it’s SO cute with a spring-ish dress.
Fluffy Sweater – may or may not have bought this in all the colors and the vest version, too… I love comfy. loungewear and this fluffy sweater checked all the boxes for me. // BP Slide Sneakers – I thought these were so fun! Plus, the slide was so convenient for running errands but still staying stylish. You know how I do.
Caslon Basic Tee – these basic tee’s from Caslon are perfect for layering under cardigans or just on their own for a classic look. // Cardigan – this is one of my favorite cardigans. (and it’s on sale!!) I love that it’s longer and has pockets. Essential cardigan to have, for sure. // Boyfriend Jeans – I got these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because I had always wanted to try Rag & Bone jeans and the discount was so great. Honestly, Rag & Bone is now my go-to for jeans. I love the way they fit and the quality is great! Definitely worth the investment.
Alo Moto Legging – These leggings are everything. I love them to work out in and also to style with a comfy, but still cute, sweatshirt and sneakers. // Ugg Boots – you thought Uggs were done?? Nooo, I need my Uggs to slip-on to keep me warm when Dallas is as cold as it has been lately.
Adidas Gazelle Sneakers – stylish sneakers really took off this year and I loved the way it dressed down some of my more dressy outfits. I love the combination of dressy and sporty.
Vince Camuto Strap Sandal – I feel like everyone needs a pair of low-heel, neutral sandals like these. I love that you can wear these to either a casual lunch date or a summer wedding.
Rebecca Minkoff Love Bag – I was struggling to find a bag that wasn’t too large to carry around but still had sufficient space for all my things. This Rebecca Minkoff is the perfect size!
Sam Edelman PJ Set – I love the colors in this PJ set. The silky pajamas were my uniform for a solid couple of weeks and I have no regrets. I think it’s nice to treat yourself to new pajamas every once in awhile, just to freshen it up!
Distressed Black Jeans – I got so much use out of my distressed black jeans this year. It adds such an edgy flair to any outfit! // V-Neck Sweater – This sweater is one of my favorites because of the gorgeous pink color! My wardrobe is pretty neutral so I enjoy adding some pops of color here and there!
I love fashion. Omg, so many options and styles in 2017 that I adored. I’m looking forward to adding more essentials to my closet this year!
