Meet my new favorite stop for the best cupcakes and other decadent treats, Cupcaking Desire.
Cupcaking Desire is a cute pink food truck parked in the Lone Star Court in the Domain. These cupcakes are the real deal. Excellent flavor concentration, sweetness balance (not too sweet), moist, and the frosting..oh, don’t get me started on that frosting. The frosting (esp the strawberry and buttercream) is soft, creamy, rich and absolutely delicious. I also ordered an Alfajores. Alfajores are soft, delicate cookies from South America made, surprisingly, with cornstarch. The cornstarch gives the dough a smooth, satiny texture. Creamy Dulce de Leche holds the cookies together.
