The start of this year, I started experiencing a lot of hair loss. My sweet husband encouraged me to get my first wig. I now have two!! One is named Kim and the other is named Stephanie, Steph for short. I will be giving my natural hair a break as I try all the tips and tricks to grow it back. I’ve always tried to be transparent with y’all about the “good” and “bad” of my life.
I never thought it would be so scary to show you what I believed was the “ugly”. But then I remembered God made me a hot sassy mama. We all are, no matter what shade or circumstances life throws at us. So I made my situation into fun game that I called #danislittlelies. Today I’m telling you EVERYTHING. Thanks for livin’ real life with me. Love y’all.
Dani’s Little Lies in Action
Clue #1:
The wig box was on this story. Lol… some of you caught this.
Clue #2:
Los Angeles is a bittersweet place for me. SO much good happened there (like getting engaged) but SO much bad has happened there for me. If you follow a long you probably know what I am talking about. I bought my wigs from a wig shop we actually heard about from Jeffrey Starr…random, I know.
Clue #3
Spelling out “KIM” in sign language. Kim is the name of my wig LOL. Kim Kardashian and Kim Zolciak inspired the name “Kim” since they both wear wigs and own it.
Clue #4
Spelling out “STEPH” in my tweet, the name of my shorter length wig.
Clue #5
The lyrics at 2:40 talk about loving yourself from your head to your toes. It was my anthem for weeks.
Clue #6:
This one I also hashtagged Stephanie Pratt’s birthday. #041189 (April 11, 1989). She influenced the name Steph. Even though Stephanie Pratt doesn’t wear a wig. Idk, I just think her shorter haircuts are cute.
Clue #7:
Phone calls cuz I had to order one wig over the phone from an LA wig shop.
Clue #8:
Brunch with my girls Kim and Steph! Three’s company!
Clue #9:
In many of my IG stories for the last 4 weeks, you can see the styrofoam head in the background.
Clue #10
I circled the letters spelling BRAVADAS which is the wig store I first visited in Dallas. A LOT of you guys figured this one out which was so impressive!
IN RESPONSE
I am absolutely SHOCKED by how many women have DM’ed, e-mailed, and commented about going through a similar situation. Really lights a fire in me to help in any way I can. I feel like a weight was lifted off my chest by sharing and it’s overwhelming how sweet you all are being. Thank you for your support. Get ready to see a whole lot more of KIM and STEPH!!
