Last week I mentioned on Instagram stories maybe leaving on the 4th of July (cheaper flights) to explore the Pacific Northwest; Seattle, Victoria, and Vancouver to be exact. It was more of just an idea. Did NOT think it would actually happen. Within the hour I probably received over 100 messages from people with recommendations and previous travel itineraries. Y’ALL ARE SO AMAZING. I called my mom, who is quite the little jet-setter herself (just returned from China and is now in Cabo…) and we booked our flights. Once my brother caught wind, he got a little jealous and decided to come along. Next was my dad and then Jordan! WATCH OUT CANADA! Here come the Austin’s (+ Jordan). Guys, my family is the goofiest family on the planet. I am so excited.

A lot of people have asked for my travel itinerary. I’m not the best planner but I feel like I owe it to everyone who has been so helpful to be organized and try to fit in as much as we can. If you see something missing from our itinerary you think we should definitely add, or something that just does not make any sense, feel free to comment! Nothing is set in stone. This is kind of a list I just threw together! Let’s crowd source the crap out of this itinerary. Lol.

JULY 4 – SEATTLE [DAY #1]

Check in at the W Hotel at 12 PM.  I am partnering with the W on this portion of the trip. SO PUMPED because the W Hotels are so fun. This one in particular has a Sound Suite where Landon can actually work and record. Like wut. How cool is that?

Walk to Pikes Place Market. Now one of the oldest continuously operating farmers markets in the country! I actually cannot wait to hear about the history of this place and grub of course. If I can fit in a couple of outfit shots, I wouldn’t mind either. 🙂 I’ve been told to try the Pike place chowder, fish, Becher’s handmade cheese, Pear Delicatessen & Shoppe, and the Crab Cakes at Etta’s.

What the locals say: “My faves are steelhead diner (bomb seafood), pink door (Italian), Von’s (American? Idk but amazing sourdough pasta), purple cafe and wine bar, serious pie (excellent pizza), Lola for breakfast, and japonessa (Japanese)! Beecher’s mac and cheese and Rachel’s ginger are great and would be good snacks! Also, gotta try ellenos Greek yogurt… Best yogurt I’ve ever had lol”. –Megan Chisick

Storyville Coffee Shop OR Ghost Alley Coffee. Any preference? I’ve heard both are great. Question is, which one is more insta-worthy? hehe.  After that long flight. I am thinking we are going to need a little pick-me-up plus it is located right above Pikes Place.

Columbia Tower. So we debated on whether we should visit the Space Needle or Columbia Tower. Apparently Columbia Tower is taller and has the better view?

DinnerPurple Cafe and Wine Bar.  Thank you Lydia (in the comments) for this rec! Looked it up and on Yelp and all I can say is YUM!

Dessert at Serious Pie. This one is for you dad. Daddy loves his pie.

Hang out at the W Hotel Sound Suite. The Sound Suite is a private recording studio and creative space for artists to use during their stay at the W! Looks like my brother Landon may beed to bring his guitar!

JULY 5 – SEATTLE [DAY #2]

Hike Trail Loop in Discover Park. Apparently if you hike to the lighthouse, this is a 5 mile hike.

Bruch at Portage Bay Cafe. They have a pancake and waffle toppings bar with fresh fruit and homemade whip cream. So, I’m sold.

Nordstrom & Starbucks Reserve – (lol sorry but I have to…)

Sunset Sail. I actually don’t know where to go to do this or reserve a spot but workin’ on it! Any recs?!

Dinner on the Patio at The Pink Door. For our last night in Seattle, I think we will have worked up an appetite and the Pink Door’s Italian sounds pretty delish. Plus it has a pink door…so I am bias.

JULY 6 – SEATTLE –> VICTORIA [DAY #3]

Breakfast at Lola’s.

Ferry from Seattle to Victoria.

Check into Airbnb. Reserving an airbnb is also on my to-do list among like 100 other things.

Butchard Gardens. Just google ‘butchart gardens.’ I dare you. It’s like Alice in Wonderland and Cat in the Hat had flower babies.

Tea at the Empress Hotel. Wow. This luxury hotel looks amazing. I am not a huge “tea” person but I’ve been told this is quite the experience! Of course, I’d be lying if didn’t say this idea is totally “insta-worthy.” So yes, you will be seeing me sipping tea in my cutest outfit on insta. 🙂

Fisherman’s Wharf. You can see seals & other marine life along this quaint floating pier with food kiosks & shops! I love to shop. 🙂

JULY 7 – VICTORIA [DAY #4]

Lunch. Undecided

Whale Watching TourNot sure what company just yet!

Shop on Robson Street.

Drinks at Chill Winston.

JULY 8 – VICTORIA –> VANCOUVER [DAY #5]

Check into The Fairmont Pacific Rim (hopefully) still have not booked it though.

Bus to Capillano Bridge. Ohhh. boy. This looks scary!!! I’m up for the adventure.

Dinner at Nightingale. Already booked this one. Heard it can get pretty crowded! The ambiance and interiors look amazing.

JULY 9 – VANCOUVER [DAY #6]

Bike through Stanley Park. Stanley Park is almost COMPLETELY surrounded by wanter. I am thinking a bike ride (or maybe even a jog) is the way to go!

Chambar for Lunch. Looks cute and delicious!

Granville Island.  Thinking about doing a food tour here. Thoughts?!

Kitsiano Beach. According to google, “Scenic stretch of sand & lawn with a playground, tennis courts & a heated outdoor saltwater pool.” Looks pretty cool.

JULY 10 – VANCOUVER [DAY #7]

Drive to Whistler and Joffre Lakes. Will be have time to do both? Is there hiking around Whistler? I believe you can hike to the top of a glacier here? Not totally sure but the views looked amazing. Trying to find other amazing hikes in Vancouver.

Dinner: Undecided.

JULY 11 – VANCOUVER –> SEATTLE [DAY #8]

Amtrak from Vancouver to Seattle. This is a 4 hour train that takes you through the Rockies. I hear it’s absolutely breathtaking. Jordan has taken it before!  I’ve never been on a train like this before.
