The sun is shining, poolside pina coladas are calling, but my toe is THROBBING. I am spending this week on the beach in Playa del Carmen with Jordan, my bro, and their buds from high school. We’ve had a blast but this morning we played a little game of beach volleyball and I, (of course) got a little too competitive and sprained my toe. #CoolDani. I managed to hobble over to the lobby for a little toe-icing session and thought it was the perfect time to whip out my laptop and share some of my favorite warm weather essentials this trip! SOUL CYCLE CLASSES
Back home in Texas, it’s a little too toasty to spend hours in the humidity and sun. I enjoy signing up for weekly spin classes to keep my heart rate up during the warmer seasons. It also makes for the perfect pre-brunch activity with your girlfriends.

What would summer be without a chic, new pair of sunnies? While wayfarers, rounds, and cat eyes are trending, I’ve been loving this playful pair from Madewell.

It’s no secret that I own WAY too many swimsuits! I love the current high-waisted trend, especially paired with a versatile bikini top. Can you say mix and match?!

CUT OFF DENIM SHORTS
Everyone needs a good pair of denims, right?! This month I’ve already stocked up on these three pairs of cut-offs to pair with my favorite tees, tanks, and off the shoulder tops.

Summery sandals are essential. Currently in Mexico and I’ve been wearing the same slip-ons the whole trip. They can go from day to night in a snap and they’re really, really comfortable!
