Hello friends! I’m back in Austin, and I could not be more excited to be here again. This city is my home and you all know well that it is very near and dear to my heart. I’ve only been gone for two months; the skyline is not the same, more people have flooded in to live here with me, and the energy is even more electric than it was prior. Second Bar & Kitchen
I love a restaurant with a fresh menu, natural lighting, and outdoor area. Second Bar + Kitchen checks all three off the list and is deemed totally “insta-worthy” in my book. Speaking of insta-worthy… can we talk about these studded bootie beauties!! I love a festival inspired look and I’m convinced the indigo rd. Keetra Bootie was made for me! The metallic accents are really eye-catching and I loved pairing (and re-wearing #noshame) with this ruffled garden midi dress to ACL Festival the next weekend.

Francesca’s – The Arboretum
With Austin’s population booming this last year, finding an enjoyable shopping experience can be a crowded challenge. Forget the long lines and mountains or fabrics and hangers you have to deal with at normal department store. Francesca’s at the Arboretum has a mix of carefully-curated clothing, bright baubles, bold accessories, and playful gifts that are as fun to give as they are to receive.

77º Rooftop Bar at Rock Rose
If I told you there was a place in Austin where you could sit in a hammock, with a mojito in hand, swing back and forth on a rooftop bar over looking the city, warming your toes by a near-by fire pit, enjoying the fresh breeze…I BET YOU WOULDN’T BELIEVE ME! After living in Austin for 5 years, I can tell you 77 Degrees at Rock Rose is like nothing I have experienced in Austin. What a perfect way to unwind after a long day studying or at work. I love when my wardrobe effortlessly transitions from day to evening so when it came to these tall suede boots from indigo rd., it was love at first sight. All of the indigo rd. boots run true to size and are super comfortable.
