Trader Joe’s Favorites
If I know one thing about myself (for certain), it’s this: I’m basically the queen of snacks. Okay, okay, I may or may not have given myself that title. But if you catch my drift, snacking is an important food group!
Luckily, Trader Joe’s has got my back. And you know the best part? When I shop there, I always come in under budget. With all of the fixings under one roof (and a totally easy-to-navigate store), I can drop into Trader Joe’s for a quick minute and grab all the DELISHIOUSNESS that a girl could want.
First, let’s run through a few of my favorite things. Then, download a free grocery list. So next time you’re thinking, HOW DO I FEED MYSELF (literally me every day of the week), just turn to this guide for a quick how-to!
Trader Joe’s Must-Haves:
Corn & Quinoa Salad: It’s enough to fill you up at lunch, with a little leftover for when the late-afternoon snack craving hits.
Three-layer hummus: This is a dream of a dip, LET ME TELL YA. It’s creamy, savory, and oh-so flavorful. The last layer has a kick to it—you’ve been warned! And it’s sure to satisfy every taste bud at your next impromptu party.
Chunky Guacamole: This stuff is a party if your mouth. It’s got all the good stuff—tomatoes, onions, and garlic—without the guilt. The yogurt in this guac makes for a creamy and satisfying topping to your fav chips.
Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups: It’s impossible to eat just one of these. You’ll never want a Reese’s again! Seriously, these candies are like crack. A box disappears in no time.
Multigrain Pita Chips with Sesame Seeds: These hefty little pita chips can stand up to just about any dip or sauce on game day. They’re simple, a little healthy, and have that perfect crunch factor.
Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips: Talk about a kick of flavor! These orangey chips will brighten up your snack tray in no time. They’re natural, crispy, and super thin—everything you want from a tortilla chip.
Banana Chips: These easy dried banana chips are great to have on hand. Usually I like to keep them in the car for something to munch on during rush hour.
Coconut Cashews: AHEM. Let me introduce you to the tastiest snack with the right hint of tropical sweetness. Reach for a handful of these healthy cashews to curb your appetite. (Pro tip: they pair perfectly with banana chips!)
Cornbread Mix: For when you need southern side on the fly, this cornbread box mix is your BEST FRIEND. Ohhh my goodness. Drizzle some honey on there and call it breakfast the next day. And since you’re the one whipping it up, it totally counts as homemade.
Sockeye Salmon: It’s in the freezer section, and it’s a fancy weeknight meal in the making. This salmon is freshwater fish from Alaska. All it needs is a bit of olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper. Voila! Consider yourself a bargain shopper turned gourmet chef.
